Regularly Scheduled Events

Music programs of some kind every Saturday, second Saturday of each month we usually have our group the Whitewater River Band and a jam session. Bring your instrument and play along or bring your lawn chair and listen.

Karaoke by Mike Heins every third Saturday at 6 pm here at the Saddle barn. Except in June when it will be on Friday the 20 th at 6 pm

We give away gift certificates ($15.) for trail riding to the winners of all our events such as Old Fashion Days and the Rodeo, the Talent Contest will be $20 dollars.

Hay rides every Sat. evening at 6 pm by reservations. If no one signs up ahead hay rides ahead we do not harness the horses.

Upcoming Events

July 12 Ice Cream Social
Ice Cream Social and Oldies Band 100 Proof with Bill Arvin, JR Mullins, Clark Keenan and Duane Rummell will be playing. Ice Cream will be individual servings for $3.00 per person.

July 5th
Talent Contest $5. entry fee, bring your own CD or instrument to sing or play along with. There will be a panel of 3 judges for this event. $100. for 1st. place $75. 2nd place and $50. for 3rd place. $20. gift certificates for trail riding will be presented to all of the contestants.Download entry form on right side of page.

August 9th
Old Fashioned Days (1.00 cost to the participants) I give away $20. gift certificates to the winners (Kids and Adults) of each event.

September 4-8
The Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall is coming to Whitewater Memorial State Park

September 13th
Rodeo Games, this event envolves the whole family, kids division and adults division. We put on a demonstration with a real horse. How to run barrels and poles. Then the contestants do the same with stick horses. We also have a goat ribbon contest, where the rider has to ride down get off of their stick horse get the ribbon off of the goat, get back on the stick horse and come across the finish line. All of these events are timed!

October 18th & 25th
Haunted Hayrides $3.00 per person call and book your rides ahead of time. Rides will start at dark and run until 11pm.

CALL AHEAD AND BOOK YOUR TRAIL RIDES TODAY!

1/2 hour 1.5 mile ride $15.

1 hour 2.5 mile ride $20.

3 hour 9.0 mile ride $50. (by appointment) usually starting at 9am. We also now offer a sack lunch. prepared by one of our local restaurants for $4.00 per person. Stopping about half way around at a picnic area.

Parent assisted pony rides.

$3.00 for 3 laps or $5.00 and play as long as no one is waiting.

Saturday evenings at 6 pm hay rides $3.00 per person sign up ahead in the barn office. We can take between 20-25 people per wagon. When the 6 pm wagon gets full then we go to the 6:30 pm, then the 7 pm etc..

Private parties after 5 pm for large groups of 10 or more starting at $300. for pony rides, horseback rides, hay rides, corn toss and live music. Two and a half hours of fun for the whole family!

Private rides for the more advanced are available through the week or after 5pm $25. an hour (call ahead for reservations)!

Private riding lesson available -$15. œ hour -$30. 1 hour

Live music at the saddle barn. Jam session every Saturday. Bring your instruments and play, or your lawn chairs and enjoy!
